I believe its max 10x10 per billing cycle,, so if your there 2 weeks its still 100$ max. I have used it,, I just check every 2 or 3 days , worked fine .
AT&T has a Mexico phone/text/data package that's a good deal. I've used it for over a dozen trips to both Cancun and Cabo and for every trip and it's been 100% reliable. No swapping SIM's...it's just on your account. Edit, just read your whole post and saw you have Sprint...sorry...nevermind.
US customers---I just contacted Verizon. For Qualifying plans and a $2 a day surcharge you can use your current plan. We do not have a Qualifying plan so we are limited to the options below. As our intent is to stay off the grid as much as possible I elected for the $15 plan.
We're going to try our Sprint service in January. I called & w/ our corporate plan I am able to have free unlimited text & date, calls are .20/min. They had another option of unlimited calls with $/mb but I wasn't interested in that so didn't pay attention. There was no addition to our plan for this either. I have no clue how good Sprint will work when we get there but I guess we'll find out.
We just called sprint also .. No additional charge .. Text/voice unlimited and 1gb of data. The guys said to make sure you adjust all your apps in settings so they don't suck up all your data . Great inquiry glad you asked and people piped in !
Have you used your phones in Cancun before? I'm curious how good the service is. At no additional cost though, might as well try.
We've used ours for text and calling and the service was as good as we had at home. This will be our first try with using Data. All I need is to update my fantasy football line up and we can put my phone in the ocean for all I care.
