cell phone companies

    well im leaving thursday.......cant wait anyways i just wanted to no wat cell phone companies work..cuz if it doesnt work i dont see no point of bringing it wit u and risk losing it.....i have nextel and i have a sidekick 3 wit tmobile

    Most cellphones work down there, but sometimes you have to activate the 'international calling' featurs by calling the cellphone company.

    I got Sprint, by Nextel. I called last a few days ago and they just had to upgrade software on my account to allow for international calling. It was free, but calls will cost me 99 cents per minute, and text messages are 15 cents for every text either sent or received. Hope this helps...
