We agree that the cigar lounge location is perfect except the lack of bar service. During Octoberbreast we rented it out for a toy exchange and had the bar staffed with a full bar. They charged us $10 a person per hour and I paid upfront and then collected from the 20 people that were in the toy exchange. The catch was people told their friends and others heard the commotion and before you knew it we had way more than 20 people up there. Of course then TTR tried to charge me $10 a person for each of these extra people I didn't even know. So it turned a fun experience into a stressful one as I (not TTR) had to try to collect from the random attendees or just pay myself. If we do it again then I would insist TTR have a guard at the door if they really want more money for randoms. Ttr seems to have difficulty thinking outside the box and supporting anything outside the normal daily plan

It seems to me that since you are at an all-inclusive resort, they would only have to charge you for the staff, not for the product (booze). Instead of paying per person per hour, they should charge per bartender, per hour. They would have to add on time for set up and break down, but it still seems like a better way to do it. After all, you guys were drinking the same amount of alcohol, just in a different location.

And we hate stress on vacation, which is why we are at the airport about 90 minutes earlier than we need to be, and also why we won't listen to a high-pressure timeshare pitch that we are not interested in buying just to get some kind of freebie.

One would think that would be logical but not TTR.
