Already checked. There are no NW deals on weekends from NYC. Also, NW connects in DTW/MSP. I'm pretty sure CO is the only Skyteam airlines that has direct from NYC to Vegas. I'd love to fly NW if they have direct. I am a NW elite so I get complimentary upgrades whenever there is space. I get upgrades on CO flights too (like on the way back from Cancun) as a NW elite but odds are much much higher on NW flights.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Hard Rock is where all the young party people stays. Rehab party at the Hard Rock pool on Sunday afternoon is crazier than Oasis pool during Spring Break. Deals at Hard Rock is hard to find though, comparing to other hotels that throw deals out left and right. You can always stay somwhere cheaper on the strip and buy pass to the Rehab party.
It's the thought that counts. I can find weekday NW flights for under $300 bucks. It just doesn't work for me.
Henry, I flew Southwest. those wide leather seats were great on the 5hr flight. I stayed at the MGM Grand, I get all kinds of hotel deals now.
Nice Avatar Dennis! I stayed in the Tropicana when I went, its a decent hotel..An older hotel, but cheaper, and its right next to the MGM....
MGM, Tropicana, Excalibur (where Joe Works), New York New York, Mandelay Bay, Luxor are all way down at the southern end of the strip, but very easy transfer from the airport, and the MGM pool area is very cool. My avatar was from the CC party... I'm getting in touch with my inner Rasta.
