CC Vegas invasion

Just checking some airfares. Damn, it's expensive to fly NYC<->LAS on weekends. If I get a little picky (Continental direct, leaving Fri evening, returning Sun night), it's like $440.

When is everyone thinking of going? I'll do any Fri-Sun (since I don't any vacation days left). Memorial Day weekend would be perfect since I can do Fri-Mon and go to Rehab party Sun afternoon. I just hope work won't send me to Hong Kong around that time (should find out in a couple weeks).

I agree.....I've always tried to schedule travel around the memorial day weekend and the flights are ALOT more expensive. I would suggest after as well...

Flight wise, memorial day weekend, I can get Fri evening to Mon afternoon direct CO flights for $480. That's only $40 more than short weekend flights. I'm going to Milwaukee for July 4th long weekend so the next long weekend for me is Labor Day.

that's the weekend that Jessie and I went last year... weather was great.

 

Continental direct for $360 right now over labor day weekend. Not too bad for long weekend, will probably be more if I wait more than a couple month so I'll probably book in a month or so.

last year I booked about a month out... got $99 each way, non stop from Hartford to Las Vegas.

 

What airline flies BDL<->LAS direct?

 

Did you try Northwest? I think they have some good deals going on? I'm not sure, I got some coupon in the mail where I could fly to Vegas for 278$.....

 

Which hotel/s would you be looking at? as I would be damn interested in this little journey
