HELL YEAH!! The only bad thing about Wrigleyville is that most of the bars close at 1:30.. grrr... maybe we can go to that bar at the Belmont red line stop after, it is open til 4 and pretty cheap.. Big City Tap? is that what it's called?
I think we should try to make the boat party the first option Saturday late afternoon to early evening and Wrigleyville as backup or if we have enough time early Sat afternoon (which we may not if we party too hard Friday night). Another good backup for Sat afternoon is the north beach. There is a pretty cool bar there too. I personally think Friday afternoon makes more sense than Saturday. Yes, Wrigleyville will be crazy Saturday afternoon but if we have 30+ people, it'll be almost impossible to get in any bar except for maybe (actually a pretty big maybe) Cubby Bar. Remember we went to Murphy's with 4 people that Saturday afternoon and we barely had any room to move. There is NO WAY we can get a group of 30+ in. Friday may not be as insanely crazy but that'll also ensure we have enough bars to get into on the bar crawl. The last thing we want is wasting all Saturday afternoon waiting in line trying to get into bars and can't end up getting in anywhere. It sounds like a lot of people are getting in Thursday night and early Friday so I think Friday afternoon would work out.
I vote we make Uncle Fatties Saturday night the official party. 1. It can be a guarantee thing right now, as oppose to the uncertainty of getting a boat. 2. The place is definitely big enough to fit everyone. 3. I kind of know the owner so maybe we can work out a open bar deal with him or something. 4. People can show up earlier or later depending on how long it takes them to get ready, whereas the boat everyone has to meet up at a given time and some people may get left out if they are late. 5. Friendly girls.
