Also, I noticed that a lot of these threads start off negative but then turn positive. It shows the incredible personalities of the TTR regulars.
Keepsakes? Haha, I'd never thought of this, but I do remember being at the final game before the mass renovation of a beloved local sports stadium. As soon as the final whistle blew, all around was chaos as punters were trying to claim old keepsakes and memories from the venue. Security were running around like mad trying to stop and restrain people, it was fantastic! :aktion025: We smashed off our wooden seats that we'd sat on dozens of times as season holders and threw them over the back wall to a waiting mate and got clean away, I still have a outdoor chair I made out of the painted timber (Number C408 and C409, thank you! :icon_wink: ) Not that this sort of behaviour is condoned of course! I'm all growed up now, and would frown and tut at such juvenile and stupid behaviour....:icon_wink: (disclaimer - some behavioural traits such as those above, and worse, are know to re-occur in this person when alcohol or party people are involved) I also played a gig at a final night of a popular student bar a few years back. In a nice touch, the owners upped all alcohol to top-shelf on the last night and were offering removable features in the bar to people for crazy dares. It was great! I won't be there, but it sounds like it shaping up to be pretty epic! It will go out with a bang - metaphorically, probably physically and possibly literally!
