Every hotel in the world has a resident scabby cat. In Amsterdam they are often found inside cafes and restaurants. Most off-putting. :daisy:
I look forward to getting to meet her! We went to the VIM last year and there was a little orange one that followed room service around and would come in your room after they left if you let her I think it adds a lot to the experience if your a cat lover if there is one on site. Oh, a just a note chocolate is bad, even though they love it!
I remember feeding the a lovely little hungry cat when I was there 2 years ago not sure if its the same one but that was in the 5000 area too.
My husband said there were grey cats when we were there at the end of January. He said they have different meows. I think it was the same cat, but who knows. I never saw 2 cats and you'd think at some point they would both be trying to get food. He also had more to drink than me, so maybe he was seeing double lol
I remember seeing a grey tabby kitty last March, we stayed in the 5000 block and that's where we saw him/her. I'm a huge cat lover, but I also know not to touch it, cause it could be feral or carry some serious diseases. If I see the little guy when we head back to TTR in 2 weeks I will definitely give him something to eat though! I love, love cats....my husband makes fun of me cause I love them so much!
I reckon hotel cats have a bit of a scam going. They see a tourist, pull in their stomachs, put on the "look at me I'm so pathetic" face, and get fed best prawns from Patty O's! Seen it happen! :daisy:
everytime we are there, we look for the cats.. One year we had a ground level room, and there was a black and white one that came and layed on our back patio all week.. Loved to be petted.. Have not seen it since
Also Eduardo, waiter in the buffet and at night in Patyo's says the staff calls her "Thumper" dont know why but its cute!!
Aw I like petting kitties! But yes the cats around the resort used to venture into Paty O's too at night when it wasn't as loud. Not so much anymore lol!
