Thank you, thank you, Thank you all for your kindness and generosity. I / we will never be able to say it enough. With dad's rapid decline and having to place him in an Alzheimer's special care home, sooner than I had ever anticipated, now having to sell his assets to pay for his care since neither regular health ins nor the government will assist, taking a vacation was not an option. Since I was last at TTR, I have been through a lot, from my own cancer surgery and recovery, to taking care of Dad through all of that then in November he went into rapid progression. I had to place him February 4th of this year. It was the most heartbreaking thing, I have ever done. But knew I had too for his own safety because even 24 hour care for him at home wasn't enough. If it wasn't for Tony and the numerous friends from around the world, who supported me, hugged me via the Internet, offered words of encouragement, phone calls and e-mails, I don't know how I would have gotten through it all. The CCC/TTR family is the best and I can't wait for Tony to meet everyone and for both of us to meet those we have never met before. So again, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you!!! I know what my aunt went through with her husband's Alzheimer's. She was not able to get him into a facility he had to stay in hospital on a wait list and had little care as a result. If she wouldn't have been there day in and out, I don't know.......many violent outburst etc. It is a terrible disease that is very misunderstood and improperly cared for in many circumstances. I can't imagine what Mommabear is going though. God bless and CCC bless!

While bumping this I want to say CCC is an amazing community of wonderful friends and so many of whom have never met one another! It's a good feeling being a part of such a group who help each other when someone needs it!!
Hi dearest. We have never met and most likely never will as we are always at TTR in March due to my son's baseball season beginning in April. However, anyone who has gone thru such hardship deserves an amazing vacation and its all on us. Donation just sent. Enjoy!!!
