It is a pleasure to donate to such a worthy person. I have been following Carol on FB and her day to day struggles have often left me speechless . Lets all help as much we can to get this great person to TTR
i know all to well the nature of Alzheimers, Parkinsons, and the incidious thing called Lewy Body Disease. My father was diagnosed over 10 years ago and given 6 years to live. he is still living at home thanks to my wonderful mother in law, even though he needs 24 care. happy to donate to such a cause. i had to make the easy choice over the years to visit him instead of BBG/TTR over the years. I would have been gracious for a "real" vacation.
I do not know Carol but I'm happy to contribute to a good cause! I have no doubt Steve will raise money for Carol's trip and even more ... Since I'm on the CCC forum , I only met exceptionels people. Be generous people ..... specially the March Breakers group!
Definitely a worthy cause. Even though we can't be there this year, glad to help out to make sure MommaBear can be.
I hope Carol has a wonderful trip to Cancun and maybe we will have a chance to meet in person! Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk
Lets see if I can bring how I feel about waking up to this wonderful gesture into words. I will start by saying, I have read the post over and over, and reading it through tears. I am in shock. This gesture truly shows people who have never been to TTR, or on CCC never seem to comprehend that you can make lifelong friends and become family just from the people you meet while on vacation. At TTR and CCC you can. I have!!!! It is not until you get there and experience it all for yourself to completely understand what I am talking about. I have met some of the most amazing people from all over the world at TTR/ CCC. It is not about cliques, it is about making friends, being yourself, having fun and making memories and friendships to last a lifetime. I sincerely thank each and every one of you for your kind words, support, gestures and generosity. Words alone cannot fully express how I feel. It is beyond amazing. Amazing friends from all over the world. I thank you!!!!! From the bottom of my heart. XOXOXO "Mommabear" Carol
