Might be the issue, After an introductory period or amount $$,, you have to add a Bank account to your account to keep going. Also expiry dates on CC have to be kept up to date.
People of CCC... No let me correct that... FRIENDS of CCC you are absolutely amazing, for your support and generosity. Tony and I are so thankful for this opportunity to get away and take a well deserved vacation with a lot of amazing people, but I have to all say THANK YOU from my DAD too. Although he is no longer aware of what is going on, he is getting the best care around and your generosity is making it possible to keep him there longer. I'd like to share a little more of history of how great everyone I have met from TTR have been to Dad and I. Over the holidays I had posted on my Facebook that my loved Christmas cards. I was amazed by how many friends, and friends from CCC that had sent dad cards and pictures of themselves. Seeing the smile on his face as he received the cards was priceless. Although he didn't know who most were, he loved that people were thinking about him. Every day when I go into his part of my house, those cards still hang on the walls where he had placed them. It's a daily reminder of how great people are. It will be quite some time before those cards come down, because those are memories you all helped create for me and my dad. Although he no longer remembers I can for him. And will be forever grateful for all you do and have done!
We were out to dinner last night with a Mecca legendary guest, we got talkin' about TTR & CCC, and how, so many awesomely decent ppl make both entities fun. This thread came up in the discussion and got us wonderin' what the final tally is/was.
total I AM NOT SURE OF FINAL TALLY BUT I DID TOP IT OFF TO $4000 THAN A COUPLE MORE DONATIONS. PRETTY MUCH DIED AS WE GOT ENOUGH FOR THE TRIP. Those that I do not get to see nor get the pleasure to meet thank you and virtual hugs to you. And to those I will get to see in April, Thank you and will be many many hugs. Your kind words and generosity is absolutely amazing. I wish I could report that my Dad is getting better, but his Alzheimer's is in more of a rapid progression. I went to visit him yesterday at the Alzheimer's facility for his Birthday, yes he is a St. Patty's Day Birthday boy, at the young age of 71. He did not realize it was his Birthday, nor did he remember how to open a birthday gift. He did however love his A&W Root beer and Chocolate Chip cookies I brought him. I have learned so much through my fathers illness while he was living with me and since placing him in a home. Take the time to cherish the small things in life. Look for the positive and love with all your might. Today is your life, it is what you make of it. So once again, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all you have done. Carol (Mommabear)
