According to CNN HL, Carlos Slim is now the 2nds richest man in the world, toppling Warren Buffet from the spot due to a 4 BILLION dollar increase in wealth in the last 4 months. Amazing what you can do when you're gifted the monopoly telco of a country of 140 million people, huh?
A couple billion here and a couple billion there and eventually you end up talking about REAL money...
Drewbert Stuff like this reminds me of an old SNL skit where Steve Martin had a guaranteed system for making a million dollars (it was a longggggggg time ago) After the lengthy setup, the secret was "Well first, you take about $20 million . . . I did not see your name anywhere near the top of that list either. I guess your poker winnings have not pushed you to the next level just yet.
