Choosing a rainy day, to avoid the crowds, I went by the office again yesterday to get the hologram they said would be ready at some point. There was no line, and no waiting. I was told that a decision had been communicated to them that it had been decided that the holograms were redundant, and an unnecessary expense to the government, given that the current registration implies payment of the taxes. I was told just to be sure I had the registration with me at all times. (To be safe, I put a copy of the paid receipt for tenecia in the glove box as well.) I´ll probably inquire one more time just in case the clerk´s information proves to be faulty.
