My family and I will be going to Temptations on July 19. The good news is that my dad Reg Dog, will not be going to serve our country, but he'll be making the trip with us!!! We have been to Cancun quite a few times and always stay at this resort!! When we went in December, there was a lot of construction going on. Just wondering what people have to say about the new name and has anything really changed. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
I think you will like the changes overall. The rooms look really good. Paty O's is nice, but I like the tropical feel of the old decor. The lobby area and the bathroom off the lobby are very nice, very modern looking. Margaita's is a great addition for lunch and late night snacks. The new Nice Shoes looks really nice and the cage and pole are a blast, but the dance floor, and really the club overall, are small. I do like the big screen where they show music videos though. Enjoy your trip, and let us know what you think when you return.
Thanx Bethy!! I will post a report when we get back. I know when we there in December, Paty O's was still under wraps. The new lobby had just been finished and they were putting on the new sign on the side of the building by the marina
Good news that dad won't be going away and will be able to enjoy temptations with you as always. We were there in both January and April, and as Bethy already said. I think you'll enjoy the resort the same as always. The rooms in general are more modern and abit nicer. Section D however really isn't any different other than a bit of a face lift. The lobby area and new bathrooms are really nice. But I also agree that the more tropical look of paty o's was alot better. I liked that tropical feeling. Not to say that the new look isn't nice too, I just think that they should have kept it more tropical. Trust us when we tell you that you will have the same great time as always.
