Now they are saying that my credit card needs to be extended before they can use it. I e-mailed them back asking what that meant . They said that I would have to call RCI . RCI said that nothing was wrong w/my credit card which I had told them . I called TTR and they said that RCI was refusing the credit card because it expires in Jan 09 . I told them that was total BS . I refused to give them another card because I thought that they were trying to rip me off. I found a website that sends a derogatory message to a company everytime someone views a posting about that company ( I think that is right) anyhow it is called www.thesqueakywheel.com from the site www.mexicantimesharefraud.com you can learn more.
I have been a BBG member for a few years, and an RCI TimeShare points holder. I called to check on reservations for trips that we used points on a few months ago, and RCI will not take the call. They forward it to Premier. I have an upcoming trip in the end of August and the end hotel cannot confirm the trip, and RCI will not confirm the trip, and BBG/Premier gives us a runaround. So I have 2 trips already in the works and cannot even get confirmation information for them.
That is rediculious. RCI takes the membership fee but will not confirm your booked trips. This whole thing stinks! We keep being told it is "getting fixed". Prime vacation season and we all sit and wait!
RCI was more than happy to take the auto. w/drawal from my C.C. for the annual fee on Thurs. Maybe later today I can get our flight booked.
Roy and Marie....any luck?? I hope it works out for you to be able to come down in September. We booked our trips long time ago, airfare was much cheaper then, and we got in before the increase in AI fees for 2008. I am goingto TRY and figure out whats going on when we go down there...really want to make another trip next May!! keep us posted, and may the force be with you!!!
