On the one way fare between Playa and Cancun, those who can prove they live in Cancun pay only 36 pesos, rather than the standard fare of 60 pesos! Way to go, ADO!
I use my INAPAM card for the 50% discount on ADO. Same for ADO between downtown and the airport. On ADO "non shuttle" routes, the 50% discount is limited to 8, 4 & 2 seats/tickets per bus, on the ADO First Class, GL & Platino buses, respectively. Most Mexicans buy their tix at the time of departure and not online. With planning and luck, I almost always get the 50% discount on my frequent trips to Merida and back.
