I've noticed in a few TR's that folks from the board don't recognize each other and a few times have been at the resort at the same time and didn't even know it.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a Cancuncare shirt, button, hat, or something else so we can identify one another right off the bat?

Steve used to have his own store, sold some thongs, t-shirts, hats and stuff, not sure if it is still going, a quick look and I couldn't locate it, perhaps e-mail Steve.

Also, a booze cruise usually wins you a hirt, I have 2-3, although it doesn't help until you repeat.

    Just a thought

We've tried in the past but there's no real practical way of achieving it.

We had an online store for a few years but due to the price the store charged we had to sell T shirts at something like $16 each which I think is too much. Although we occasionally had a rush on sales it was quiet most of the year and there was also a monthly fee just to keep it online.

At one time we managed to convince TTR to sell them in the lobby shop. Again we had to sell at a higher price than we wanted as TTR didnt want our merchandise to be cheaper than their equivalents. They also wanted 40% of sales. Again hardly anyone bought one (possibly due to the fact that they were hidden away and no one could ever find them) and we decided to give up on that too.

Although production costs are cheap and they can be made easily here distribution is prohibitive. The postal service is out of the question and Fed Ex etc is too expensive - I cant expect people to pay $60 for a couple of T shirts. Finding an outlet close to TTR that doesnt want a huge cut and that will look after and promote the inventory is just about impossible too.

We do have a stash of shirts and we give away 4-6 every booze cruise as competition prizes.

Take and wear mine everywhere I go in the tropics. It can be a good conversation starter too!

Usually a lot of CC posters on the ocean side of the sexy pool, and a few that play horseshoes most days.

Steve, What if someone sold them (and or shipped them) for you here out of the States? .. shipping is much cheaper here (I think)
