with over 100 people already booked into the hotel monteleone and that many more locals particpating you would think that there would not be any more rooms available.

well you would be wrong there are approximately 5 more rooms left for those interested in cancuncare type fun and for a great cause.

just $149.00 per night and in the quarter at a luxury hotel. but you can only get them via contacting us. hotel rates purchased direct are rapidly approaching $300.00 per night for that weekend

less than two months to go so let take these 5 rooms off our hands - after these are gone rooms can be purchased directly throught the hotel

jim and terras parade through the quarter (everyone decked out in circus and mardi gras attire) best costume contest with prizes

saturday afternoon 12:00 til 5:00

pub crawl through the quarter featuring pat obriens, bourbon cowboy, cats meow and more. fun game to be played as well and best after costume prize as well

after party starts at 5:30 at the royal room featuring dj joe all the way from FLO RIDA

sunday 10:30 a.m.

unlike anything else.....

this is more than just a gathering

this event was actually created by cancuncare members for the sole purpose of (a) having a great time with great people in a great city and (b) doing something remarkable (like the cancuncare people whom we know do)

let me make this clear ---> we are not attending a parade - WE ARE THE PARADE

WE created this and WE make the rules

for example:

this year in addition to the best costume contest (for the parade) we will also be having a best "after the pub crawl contest too"

soooooo if you missed out on having the best costume - be like mike and try and win the best after the pub crawl best costume

mike's award winning little red riding ninja fairy "after party" costume from 2006 (the year the after party costume awards began)


last year we had over one hundred people join all of us cancuncare and saggy bottom people in new orleans to begin this process.....and together WE all did something remarkable by raising over $40,000.00 for the make a wish foundation

so not only did we all leave new orleans having had the time of our life........we did something we will al proudly carry with us - we granted wishes!!!!!

this year we are expecting the amount of people attending will swell to well over 300 +

if you live in the new orleans area or louisiana, south texas or the gulf states this is a must - i assure you there is nothng else like this and to be a part of what we are creating will be life changing for you.

shirts are $15.00 if ordered before august 10. after august 10 they are $20.00 all profits (100%) go directly to the make a wish foundation

if you are attending with the other 200 to 300 people - its a great way to support a significant cause - if you can't attend - get you a shirt and wear it in support of the kids
