long story extra short

ocotber 21-23 in new orleans wild and crazy weekend with cancuncare people/saggy bottom people/locals in new orleans - have no clue how many to expect at this point

original thought was about 100 - nowadays i would not surprise me if it was 200

wiil probably not know until the day of - lol

much planned all weekend long

doing a nice twist for a change on this bigweekend party and also including a charity

i mean.....

after all the wonderful parties thrown over the years by all of us - just figured we would make this one extra special and do something really awesome for someone else too at the same time

one of the special things about the reunion weekend in new orleans is the fact that we are also doing numerous monthly mini party things/events building/leading up to the main monster reunion event in new orleans on the weekend of october 21-23, 2011.

each month there is a seperate event planned including a bowl-a-thon, a bugfest (featuring crawfish/live music), a gourmet dinner raffle (featuring dinner for two at 10 restaurants) and much much more...

so canuncare people going..............feel free to pursure whatever mini events you like to do also on your local level as we continue to raise awareness for this awesome party weekend in october

this month(this past weekend) jill dedicated her 70's birthday party to the effort and over 100 people showed up and we raised a large sum in the process

special thanks to brian/eva/josephine/ryan for organizing this event and making sure everything went off without a hitch - was a blast and i drank much more than i said i would

if the saints are able to play this year (strike shit resolved)

- their schedule has them playing sunday night october 23 vs the indianapolis colts

i will begin locating ticket opportunities for those interested when i get back from los cabos

Wow! This really needs to happen! Imagine killing 2 bucket list things in one weekend. Strike be gone bring on Peyton!!

 

2 more Canadians have just booked, the room deal is still on, but now there is one less room.

i hear ya bob and welcome on board - new orleans is an incredible place and this event has my undivided attention for the next 6 solid months

= it aint going to suck one tiny bit

even though we were granted an extension on our room allotment (up to 75 rooms now on the contract) due to all the rooms going so fast.........

now that the saints schedule has been posted and they have a game in town on that sunday night against the colts - they are not going to extend the allotment...............as this hotel sells out at up to triple the rate we are getting when the saints have home games (trust me i have seen it happen for years now)

with this said, if you have not booked or if your friends have not booked (remember its an open invite) and you are SERIOUSLY wanting to go - you will need to book asap because (a) the 75 rooms will all be taken (b) they re not going to extend the allotment any fuirther (c) even if you are able to get a room after the allotment is taken or expires it will cost you between 350 to 450 per night to stay at this incredible hotel in the quarter

the reason we got this rate was under the assumption that we would fill it prior to june 15, 2011 - with the make a wish involved - we were able to negotiate the rate only if we agreed to all book prior to this date -

in other words its going away very very fast fast now - and if you thought you were IN because you verbally committed - please please please think again - you have to book to go guys

i got my one wish - that the saints would be in town the weekend we are there and with them in town the party level all over town goes up one hundred nothches - as soon as these guys work out the details and get the strike fixed will start working the angles for tickets

and lets just say since the saints are in town - there might be a special guest or two at our reunion party - im keeping my fingers crossed today and not committing to anything just yet - but lets just say - im very excited the saints are in town for a lot of reasons

i have been to many sunday night games in the super dome and if you are in town you will not want to miss the game

 

a video recently sent out the saggy bottom bunch - figured cancuncare people booking would appreciate it as well

i think it speak volumes to the type of party we are going to have in new orleans in october
