Oh yeah sorry I missed that bit, Yeah your not kidding when I was really into Bodybuilding a couple of years ago I was spending £300 a month on Supps and a further £40 extra a week on food, it was crazy I was big but I didnt have much of a life lol.
sounds like me now, got no life other than work or training, but on the bright side i have cancun to look forward too
Im not into it as much as I was, I still train alot but no where near as much as I use to.
me most days but not as harsh as i used to, all technique now.
too much protein intake can be bad for your system causing kidney problems and turning to fat. 30-50 grams per day is the proper neighborhood with the goal being to slow the time the protein passes through your body....allowing it to absorb.
Thought I would add my two cents for whatever it's worth...........
As far as too much protein...when lifting for mass 1-1.5 grams per lbs of bodyweight is sufficient. With that, you MUST consume about 1.5 gallons of water per day to help out the kidneys. If you are doing this, you should be fine. Hell 50 grams of protein is barely enough to take when you are just waking up my friend. Whey when ya wake, whey after lifting (or the like shake) and whey before bed...90 grams (approx) not counting meals I was taking 400 grams, but cut it back some being I didn't see any further gains with taking 100 more than needed. If your 200, the generic rule is take in 300 grams at key times.
I played possibly my last bit of football before Cancun last night, i played 5 a side with the images of Alan Smith's Horrific leg break freash in my mind, could you imagine breaking something the weeks before cancun???? im gonna have to step up the cardio work to try and get rid of a few more pounds!. How is everyone else's training going? it seems as though a lot of people have stopped?
Yeah I got the feeling a lot of people stopped too lol.
I did real well last weak I lost nearly 2% bodyfat but only 1lb so not much muscle went. HOWEVER I had a little relapse on Saturday night, just a lil junk food and I went to the Gym Sunday and it was flab-city! I was fuming so bad I got on the tread mill turned it up to 10Mph and Ran for about 15 minutes Im not much of a runner but this certainly did the trick I sweated so much and felt so much better after. Im going to be so strict for the next 2 weeks Weights 4 times a week Cardio every night and NO junk food!
I've Only really started getting into the swing of things now! Cancun Is now a Obsitcal in my goal of perfection! lol :lol:
