man, you all seem to be showing me up in the cardio area. I may have to start doing 20-30 minutes of running and then another 20 or so on the bike just to keep up with everyone else. Hmmm, as a side note, I really need to get an avatar up.
Hehe... yea... the thing is im not sure if i wanna build up, or just tone. I've always had a decent muscle base, and ive been getting a bit bigger, but i guess my main focus right now is not being a fatty
uh ohhhhhh some of the dudes on my floor at my school just told me the use STEROIDSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! uh oh....does fletch use them or not? Im thinking NOT, unless i become totally desperate
Yeah calicruz get an avatar up mate Jajola I wouldnt worry about free weights too much then apart from the obvious like dumbell curls etc you could just stick to the Machines buddy Fletch  Nooooooo dont do them mate, I have seriously thought about doing them before but after reading loads and loads including this 250 page book all about them I decided against, the Cons outweigh the Pros by loads IMO. I worked out for the cycle I wanted to go on would have cost a fortune so that was the final deciding point lol Dont do it mate. Bye Adam
a big mistake people make is using the bar too much or not going down all the way. a lot of people like to use a lot of weight but they only go down half way. this only works half of the muscle and usually isn't the half you want. for example, if you want a nice, round shoulder muscle...start off with some shoulder presses with the dumbells. touch your shoulders with the dumbell and press all the way up for each set. follow with seated (no back support) side delt raises. i usually do 2 sets of 10 presses all the way down and up with the 80lb dumbells and then do 2 sets of 8 with the 85. my shoulders are probably my best attribute at the moment..that and my abs. what does your training split look like? mine is the usual: back and bis chest and tris shoulders legs abs thrown in every other workout day. i have great routines for each body part too. id be interested in trading tips. likd i said, for great shoulders, use the dumbells for presses, not the bar, and then do sets of 12 seat side delt raises with no back supprort. follow this with front delt raises with the dumbells and thats probably the best shoulder workout you can get, if you use the right weight. just remember to go all the way down and get a good strecth, that is where the seriations come from. ass for the machines, i usually stay away from them. the only machine i use are from when i do my back. i will have to take a picture of myself tomorrow, i will show you how cut up i am.
Yeah I use the same Split as that PHILLY although I throw in Forearms with my back, Although my abs are probally my worst body part but I am trainning them properly now. I agree with everything else you have said, Yeah put up a picture of yourself! Bye Adam
I had to start a new work out, no more bulking the upper body for me because i was invited to spring training with a baseball team down in florida...so back to a baseball work out, where i do everything seperate....day one chest, day two arms, day three legs (Heavy), day 4 back and shoulders....then just keep going.....and i have to run 25 minutes everyday...
Most of the power for pitchers is in their legs, back and shoulders other muscles you use are mostly tendons and you need to strengthen the tendons....they tell you when you lift, go light on the chest because if you have a big chest and arent flexible, you cant throw hard....same thing with bicepts and they stress you work on the tri's harder than the bi's
