    damn

that is amazing how the prices can vary so much

for us its actually a touch cheaper

9 nights in march are running on a direct flight from dfw (mid march) to sjd for a little bit less than 1500 per person

we are still thinking it will go down even more and hoping to purchase at about 1250 pp if possible when the time is right

    rob/t

    lol

    Wow!

OK, how 'bout this. we all meet up in Arizona. Buy an old Chevy. Tan up and pile in with the Mariachi music blaring. When Immigration stops us we say we are illegal and from Los Cabos..... then look real sad as they send us back...

    lol

or we go up and get a funky ride from that burning man thing they have every year

    which

    btw

somebody mention to me about going to that burning man gig but when i read up on it and realized (a) it was in a dust bowl (b) no swimming pool (c) i had to walk a mile to take a shit and (d) i just cant bring myself to enjoy watching a man burn for an hour for no practical reason other than

to just watch the son of a bitch burn

    so

i decided to just go to new orleans for the weekend instead

I paid less than $1000 for the two of us for flights and 5 nights accomodation this trip lol, kinda hard to beat! I try to book the flights as soon as prices come out if they are cheap.

    Rob,

I don't know if this will help or not but i have been searching on the internet alot tonight and found a few really cheap ways to go. atleast from our country of Texas lol. I know all don't like the idea of haveing to sit throught the siminar but if it makes that much difference in price then ill sit through 90 min of torture. With that said...... SAVEONRESORTS.COM has the the Temptation package of 6 nights for $877 plus a $50 hotel tax on arrival. This price is for room not per person. Temptations has rooms for $260 a night which i would add to make 7 night and 8 days. That cost also covers airport transportation 1 way which also save a bit. Then on flights if one doesn't mind a lay over in mexico city, I found round trip airfare from dfw to sjd for $330.06 a person. About $270 more per person for non stop. these prices were tax included. The web site on that was Airlineconsolidators.com. This brings total price for air and stay to $1847 per couple which I believe we spent $1600 a couple for 3 nights on this last trip to TTR cancun right? I hope this helps the people who are finding the cabo trip to be a little steep in price :)

So Jim send me a message about Cabo for next April and it gets me thinking. Marilyn & I discussed Cabo a year or so ago, but thought- why leave the fun party that's TTR Cancun? So it appears the party's moving over to TTR Cabo for a week. Good food, hot tubs, cold beer, fun people, what's not to like? Rates, especially for airfare, fluctuate wildly all the time it seems. Gotta believe something reasonable will turn up. So assuming something comes along that isn't totally outrageous on price, we're sure willing to try Cabo. Flexible on the dates as well, if there's a need to slide it one way or the other. Just need the exact dates to be able to start an official countdown. (Regarding driving from Arizona; maybe we could drive our beat up old pickup trucks, Rob. Could probably get by with a drag race south of the border- if we didn't get shot.)

I've done the math and carbo is about $2000+ for us so we're definatley out. It's very sad to see the group break up especially as it was one of the largest so plus quite a few new comers.
I suppose most will pull out if they turn it back to a Desire tho
