Re: Bummer - we arrive the 4th I just updated the Jan roll call, and there is a chance we might get the numbers together for 8th or 9th Jan if we dont mind sharing with maybe 10 others (no kids) from other hotels. Please see this thread: http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=40859
Steve, I think you have counted us twice. Kirk and Diane signed up for us as well. We can both party for 2 each but don't want to eliminate anyone else from the fun. See you soon, (hopefully we can get out of Seattle!) Nick and Autumn
Still on for the 3rd? Do we meet in the lobby or down at the pier? 9:30? Pancho? How about recruiting others to come along?
Yes, we are definitely on for the 3rd. Meet in the lobby / front of the hotel at 9:15. Unfortunately Pancho left the company we use early last year for a similar job on a bigger boat paying more money. Most of the other guys are the same though. Yes, there is space for more folks, either people from here or anyone you meet at the hotel. Despite best intentions we usually have a few no shows so with a few last minute additions we usually work out about the same number as planned. Weather is pretty good right now, small rain shower this morning but blue skies now and over 80F I would guess. See you all Saturday
Hi Steve: I have to tell you that I am a little worried about the weather on Saturday. Even though I am a boater, our boat is fast and I have no problem zipping along but will be sick if the water is "choppy" and we are moving slow (especially if I drink the day before which I will since it will be day one). :wow: I don't want to cancel yet as the weather seems to change day by day. Let's hope and pray for a fabulous, clear day with plenty of sunshine! Theresa
You need to stop looking at the online forecasts  . If they were right Cancun would be the wettest place on Earth. In reality we have had 2 rain showers in the past week, none for longer than 30 mins. The rest of the time it's been blue skies 80F and little to no wind.
but last Year was cold at this time.... LOL...you are absolutely right and I am not going to look anymore because I flying out the STL on Friday no matter what is going on with the weather in Mexico. (Unless a volcano erupts in Mexico City and the planes will not fly because of visibility issues <- - - happened a few years back while waiting to board...hung out in St. Louis airport and area casinos for a day waiting for FunJet to find a pilot). Looking forward to a :sunny: visit. Theresa
Theresa the weather has been wonderful since we've been here. I think there's been 2 rain showers, and not for very long. I'm sure it will be all good. Looking forward to it Steve! Diana
