The predictions have it past cancun on sunday, so monday will be good to go. You all will have a great time.
Not sure what we going to do with the whole hurricane situation!!! We might have to cancel... we are supposed to leave on thursday so I guess we will see tomorrow how it looks... We are in New Orleans and we definitely had the experience of losing everything from Katrina so I'm a little nervous... we may have to reschedule... any ideas of when we should reschedule our trip for?? :cry:
booze cruise ok.. you can cancel us out for the booze cruise on sugust 31...we have reschedule or trip for september 25-30th due to the hurricane... what a friggin drag!!! anybody else rescheduling? :cry:
not going to cancel our trip unless the forecast track changes and puts it on a course for cancun (again presently about as much of a threat to cancun on the present forecast track as a thunderstorm in the desert) now the booze cruise is another question and could be classified as "iffy" as of right now - depending upon the weather and cancelations - i will be in touch with steve throughout this week and headed into the weekend and will have up to date information on booze cruise go/no go scenarios tob
We are still going on the 28th. A couple days of rain and a little wind will only keep us closer to the bar. If the hurricane keeps close to its projected track thats 300 miles away and like diamondheaded said its on the clean side of the storm. Even if it comes to within 75 miles, Cancun should be good to go. maybe loss of electricity for a couple of hours. There are all kinds of games you can play during a storm. Beer pong, can bowling, strip poker, best homemade thong contest. We were really looking forward to the booze cruise. If it gets canned on Sunday will it be rescheduled for Monday or Tues.?

agreed - not really that worried TODAY im packed and ready to board in the morning now if i wake up and lo and bvehold gustav were tracking in the ballpark (within say 50 miles) would consider another option for labor day oh yeah - last night i heard there was a horrible thunderstorm about 400 miles away from me in some distant city - did not lose any sleep over that "close call" slept like a rock all night long
ive looked at the list and in a worst case scenario............... i think we would have enough people to still do the booze cruise on a monday or tuesday -------of course that is IF we have to postphone sunday's cruise lets keep it as a contingency plan
