Hmmm by " Sound People" do you mean fun, happy, great group of people... The more the merrier... Our March Group of people is going to be amazing... Cheers Andrew!
Easiest way to explain them is to show you the video (sorry it's sideways): You dont normally go as high as this, and most people are not stupid enough to attempt triple back flips... unlike me. I broke a rib on this and havent done it since! They are very weather dependent though, the wind has to be just right - not too strong or you end up in Cuba, not too light or you won't get lifted out of the water.
How many people are we at now? My party buddies, Dwayne and Derek are in and are hoping for some single ladies on this thing haha.. Kim and I (Chris) are also in, see you all on the booze cruise!!!
Everyone enjoyed the day out today. Certainly, I had fun with the latest group of TTR folk. I must admit though I was a little annoyed. Of the 25 or so people who said they were coming only around 15 actually showed up. This meant we weren't able to provide the usual cancuncare booze cruise experience, and the no shows were largely responsible for that. Putting these cruises on with no money paid in advance is reliant on trust and integrity. If you say you are coming then do so, or dont sign up at all. Hell we even had one guy (Steve of Bern and Steve) show up with a badly twisted, (possibly fractured) ankle -but he was gonna make it no matter what. We had others who told me they were a "maybe" to make sure I didnt rely on them, but they showed up too. We paid for two vans for transportation and had to turn one away empty. We intended to have an exclusive boat for our group, but couldnt due to the lack of numbers. For those who said they were coming for sure but didnt show and decided to sleep off their hangovers instead, please dont bother signing up next time. You spoil it for the rest of the group and you cost me money.
Steve That sucks, I always talk about your booze cruise with friends here at home, it is always the highlight of the trip and one of the best ways to meet people from the board. I never understand how people can make a comittment and then pass up. Comittment to me is an integrity issue, sure there are times due to personal family issues where you cannot meet a comittment, but because you are hungover, that doesn't cut the mustard. Hopefully we can get some good numbers for you in April. Thanks for everything Steve. Sounds like Steve and Bern are having a good time...broken ankle and all...
