It's an underwater gallery of hundreds of statues, placed there as art and more importantly an artificial reef. It's situated off the coast of Cancun and the western coast of Isla Mujeres (Coordinates: 19.68397, -91.18652). I'm surprised you haven't checked it out for yourself, the pictures look amazing and it if it wasn't off your route it would make a perfect place for one of the swims! Looks like it's 6-9m deep though, but with clear water you should be able to see it perfectly from the surface I'd assume. Underwater Sculpture by Jason deCaires Taylor Cheers! Ahh yes I know the place just didn't know its name. We don't go there unfortunately, I don't think any snorkel trips do it's more of a diving location. Have to say that our cruise is not really about the snorkeling, we do have a snorkel stop most trips but usually not many participants. If snorkeling is important then I'd suggest booking a dedicated snorkeling trip in addition to the cruise. The cruise is more about the party.
