It's looking like the cruise could be in doubt thanks to Tropical Storm Rina which is due to effect the area around the same time as our cruise is planned. It is too early to cancel at the moment though, lets see how things develop over the next few days. It's a possibility we could move the cruise to the Monday or Tuesday, by which time the weather should be normal again. The problem with that is some people will already be at the hotel and may not find out, and others may already have left by then. Many of you fly out Thursday, so lets see how things are looking Wednesday evening. Current plan is still to meet up on Sunday at 9:15am
Just a reminder that here in Cancun we move the clocks one hour back on Sunday 30th (like the UK but unlike the US) If the storm has passed by then and we go ahead remember to change your watches for meet up time or you'll be an hour late.
Anyone reading this thread? not seeing much interest Just wanted to clarify the deposit refund policy, the hurricane is due to effect us Thursday, cruise is Sunday so may be ok to go ahead. We'll have to see how the weather turns out to know for sure. - If the cruise is canceled because of bad weather, everyone gets a refund. - If you want to cancel and you're in Cancun, or if you cancel your whole trip or re-arrange it, let me know with 48 hrs notice before Sunday morning (so by Friday morning). You will get a refund. - If the cruise goes ahead and you haven't let me know you're not coming I'm not able to refund you because I am planning on you being there. I'm booking transport and ordering drinks and food for you that have to be paid for if the cruise runs. To cancel, Pm me or send an email to steve@cancuncare.com

Hi Steve, we fly out from Manchester on Saturday morning landing in Cancun at 3pm. All the travel agent has said to us is that they are keeping an eye on things day to day. Hoping, fingers and toes crossed, that the hurricane dies down or goes away!!!! and we still get to Cancun. Looking forward to the cruise on Sunday but you can't plan the weather and if it has to be put off so be it. Thanks for keeping us informed. I keep looking on here for any updates etc. Moira
