When I have previously visited Cancun I never checked the forecast while being at home and it's usually hot as when I get there and maybe rains a couple days out of the week and for maybe 5 minutes and then stops and the sun comes out. please look at this link and tell me if I should be worried about all this rain. hell no! Most the time it says 30% chance, thats nothing, you will likely see NO rain when it says 30% chance! You will be good!
Yeah trust me in all my years being in cancun it has rained one day...And looking at those forcasts is never right...No worries!

Saturday during the day was great. Sun shinning all day and in the mid 80's. About 6pm or so the wind began and became quite strong and it rained in the Hotel Zone for 2 to 3 hours...a little longer downtown. Sunday was not so great. Lot of clouds but no rain in the Hotel Zone (although it did rain downtown). The wind was a bit cold though. Didn't get a weather update yesterday...sorry.
