San Antonio (SAT), Dallas Love Field, and Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) had a very limited number of restaurants open and a couple of convenience stores....June12-21 timeframe. Southwest did not serve anything due to flight being less than an hour. American handed us each a bag with pretzels, crackers, energy bar, and a bottle of water. Both airlines were telling folks to pick up something at airport and bring it on board if you wanted something or more. We always have a bag of snacks anyway and always pick up water/tea/soda as a just in case of getting stuck on aircraft for an extended period of time. Also, if it really gets that bad and you gotta go and they will not let you up you can always pee in the model...with extreme precision. Always take a thin paper plate to make a funnel for wifey! Quite messy without it...I know!!!
