Staying at The Great Parnassus, June 1st thru the 7th. Actually we will be at the sister hotel, Golden Parnassus, everyday from 8am till 6pm. We might even try to have them switch us to the Golden, but I hear they have been overbooked and bumping people to the Great lately, but who cares, we will be in Cancun! Having a big meetup at My Place on monday, June 4th as well. Come out if you are in town.
Golden Parnassus May 31 - June 5 We're Jay & Kathy, a Midwestern couple who'll be at the Golden Parnassus from May 31 - June 5. We've vacationed in Play del Carmen and Cozumel several times, but his will be our first Cancun visit. We'll be celebrating an anniversary...find us and ask which one....
Ken and Mary here, we'll be at the Moon Palace from 05-05 to 05-12. This year we're bringing 30 people with us.

Re: HOTELS CLOSE TO PIRATE EXCURSION I guess it depends on the type of hotel you are looking for. I stayed at the Calinda Beach and Spa Hotel and we watched the ship leave every night. We were on one side and the Costa Real was on the other side. I don't think you can get much closer than those two. I am not sure how those hotels have come along after Wilma. Maybe someone else can answer that.
