I thought you were going to start packing already? Hubby keeps asking me, "We're packing light this time, right?" I always try, but somehow doesn't work out that way.

Tell me about it. I packed about 5 pair of shoes and I basically wore the same ones the whole time!!! I do that everytime.

Ok you guys the charger died on my laptop and I can't/won't load my pics on this computer so I am going to get a new charger this weekend.
    Hold tight.

Glad everyone is having a good time. I did like the hotel and we had a great time. There were just a few issues that needed fixin'. :D

    Hey Guys,
Penny, I have that wedding tonight. I will start to pack over the weekend.
Yes, EllaBear, we always pack to much thanks for the reminder.
Jan, as far as spin goes, I know i will not be spinning on the 11th. I am so tired now. Took on lots of classes at the gym where I work. The legs need to soak in the pool. Of course salt water is good too!

We did pack up our dogs food for there vacation. Talk to you guys soon.

    free ---- don't do ittttttttttttttt

don't bring all those clothes!!! we spent so much time around the beach and pool, we only put clothes on for dinner. i had to lug all that clean clothes back! how depressing. I could have filled that suitcase with new stuff. arg! the only thing i regret not bringing was a wrap or something. the air conditioning at night (and when it rains) makes it frigid when you have those little skimpy shirts and shorts on. and it seems the vents always hit me directly. I ended up buying one there. (I wouldn't have looked like an old lady if i had brought something hot looking from home instead)

when you pay for your internet time, they give you a code to logon. like a dope, i kept buying 15 minutes at a time. i could have just paid for 30 minutes or an hour and kept using the same log in. oh well. live and learn. there was never anyone in the internet room late afternoon/before dinner. but it seems every week something changes. have a lovely trip!! you know we all live for the reports.

p.s. i love that you tell yourself your dog is going on vacation, too. we do that and it eases our guilty conscience about leaving our "baby" behind.

    Free,

We will be thinking about you and CP.

As Lisaten mentioned, the internet area was pretty quite in the afternoons. We look forward to hearing from you as time permits.

Wishing you a safe & smooth flight!
Have a frozen Melon Sour for me.

So glad I rebooked at The SUn Palace and we had a lot of couples transfer over from the CP to the SUn. The CP was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to crowded and noisy and the level of service was not even remotely close to that of the Sun Palace. We had a more hopping time at the Sun Lobby bar than we did at the CP. We, along with others who went over to try the Japanese restaurant couldn't wait to get back to the Sun. It was like being at Grand Central Station and eating in a cafeteria. The food was really good, but not worth the crowds or noise level. The hotel was clean and pretty, but I would NOT stay there during high season.

My apologies to Ellabear and 5aces. I thought the pool was exceedingly cloudy. It wasn't swill dirty, but it was cloudy. Too crowded and too much suntan oil and other stuff for the system to handle. The best thing I ever did was rebook at the Sun Palace. I had the most amazing, fun vacation ever with my own private butler service 24/7 as the service matched that of a Four Seasons caliber hotel.

I would not book the CP even with my children in tow. Too crowded for my tastes even with kids. Will look into the JW Marriott or the FACC if I go in the summer. During slower times, the CP probably would be acceptable. I'm glad everyone else enjoyed it. It was a can of noisy sardines for me and a host of other people who transferred out this past week. I guess it truly is different strokes for different folks.

I did overpack too. Same situation. Bathingsuits with a light cover up all day, only wore clothes at night and the same two pair of sandals. LOL
