oh p.s. im reading some reviews our jacuzzi DID have brown water.. but you could tell its not "dirty" cuz we just ran it for a bit drained it out and then refilled it... its because the pipes are still new so the excess has to run out first, no biggieee!!! and i agree the food at the pool is awesome.. they even had fried calamari one day i thought the lobby bar was boring, but the bartenders were amazing. the band wasnt my type and the crowd was alot older then us. I enjoyed downtown though, it was amazing down there, esp dady O, they played alot of house which i enjoyed. HATED coco bongo, the entertainment was good but u COULD NOT MOVE. the bathroom line was an hour long, and people were just too close for comfort. if the staff at the hotel asks u to come out for the night.. do it. They take care of you and give you VIP service. They even stick around to make sure you are having a good time and introduce you to all the bartenders/waiters. Its so worth it!!! sushi is good at the japanese restaurant.. in fact all the restauants were good. I liked the steak house the best bc the fish was grilled to perfection and very tasty. The mexican was awesome too, but it got the best of me after i ate it... l0l theres so much more, you wont be disapointed. Its so beautiful and so relaxing.. and there is no construction. BUT they clean like crazy!! we even saw someone cutting the grass manually with HEDGE CLIPPERS!! they clean the chairs down individually every night... i swear you can eat off the floors at this place. have fun.. any other questions let me knoww

Hello everyone, I'm going to be checking in on Friday. Can anyone tell me how their Wifi works in MX or just in Cancun Palace in general? I need to be able to access the internet while I'm in my room. Will my laptop need to be reconfigured any special ways beside connecting to the hotel's wifi?
The Cancun Palace only allows you to use your laptop to log on to Cancuncare.com so you can give the members specific details/pictures of your vacation. It is the strangest policy but that is the way it is. EB
LAPTOP USE SO AM I TO UNDERSTAND THAT IF YOU BRING YOUR OWN LAPTOP YOU CANT USE IT EXCEPT TO GO ON CANCUNCARE.COM??? HOW WOULD THEY KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING??? CANT CHECK YOUR EMAIL OR ANYTHING??? I DEFINITELY WANT TO DO A TRIP REPORT WHILE I AM THERE BUT WOULD LIKE TO CHECK MY MAIL ALSO. :?
