    Awww.. Jan!! That's sounds dreadful!!

You'll find me under an umbrella tomorrow in the lounges after boyond the pool in the sandy part just in front of the glass. You'll see Jayson clearly by the shaved head. If you see him in the pool, introduce yourself!

Can't wait to see you! I hope the rest of your vacation is perfect!

    SEE you soon, luv!

5th floor or higher. Avoid 3 and 4 if you can. There's too much noise otherwise.

    Jan.... where are you????

    Day 2 --
Awesome day. The hotel and pools are gorgeous.
We haven't experienced any of the negative issues that were previously reported by others.

The gym is open. Lots of activities and fun!

If you have any questions, I will try to answer them.

Denise, we are on the 9th floor. I looked for you today at the pool.
    Tomorrow...

    I'm Back!!!!

Guys, Cancun Palace Rocks!!!!!! The place is awesome. Everyday it gets better.

Our room had NO problems at all. They tried to put us in a second floor room but my husband put the stop to that because you could not see anything. They moved us immediately to the 5th floor and it was great!

Food is good. The Japanese restaurant was our favorite we ate there 3 nights. Itallian was 2nd best then the steak house and buffet, the Mexican we were not crazy about but they do have good skewers with chicken etc...l

Pool was not as bad as posted by those in Penn. We stayed in it all the time. The bars were all open when we left and the place was getting extrememly full.

Met Denise and Jason, happend to sit by them at the lobby bar and talked to them for a while before we knew who each other were. They are really nice folks.

The entertainment is in the amphitheatre but don't depend on the schedule that they give you when you check in. It was NOT what was written. They don't post the shows in the elevators like they did and you have to find out from the entertainment staff during the day what they are doing. I was disappointed because they didn't do Karaoke when I was there but that was just a small thing. They did have a circus that was really good. A contortionist that folded up into an small aquarium sized glass box with a lid. Unbelieveable.

If you are planning a trip here, do not worry, you will not be disappointed!!!!!

    Have Fun!!!! :-o :-o :-o

Well as Sheri said there is different entertainment each evening. We haven't done much yet.

The infinity pool area has the DJ with the games and lively atmosphere. The pool bars (at each end) have several small tables by the ocean side wall with glass panels. It is buffet (nachos, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, etc.).

    EB,
I didn't know about the page thing. Thanks!

    Free,
The gym is hiring a trainer for spin bike classes that will start in 2 weeks. It is currently open until 6:00pm, but will start staying open until 9:00pm when fully staffed. It is very nice.

It has been red flags since we arrived. Late yesterday afternoon we walked the beach and picked up shells. We stopped in front of the Royal Sands Resort and turned around. We could see the Beach Palace up a ways. We plan on going up there to see how it looks.

Last evening we ate at the Mexican restaurant. Pretty good, but different than Tex-Mex.

Today we are headed for shopping at La Isla & Kulkucan Malls.
    Jan :)

    I have a question..............

how is it with kids? are there a lot of young kids running around?

I stayed at the CP 3 times before the hurricane and there werent many kids back then. is it still the same or have they made it more kid friendly?
