Re: great pictures The beach is bigger than the picture shows. The sand seemed fine to me, no rocks, just a few shells. Lounge chairs on beach are awesome.
LIVE FROM CANCUN PALACE OMG.. This place is AWESOME!!!!! We had the best travel day EVER!! We got off the plane, cleared customers and imigration in 40 minutes!! We haven't checked around yet, but we have a fabulous ocean front room on the 5th floor. I'm having my first coctail from the liquor dispenser as I type.. YES, I brought my laptop - so expect to see me checking in and giving updates as often as I can. 10 days in paradise!!! Jan, we are in room 554 - Look for us!! Wheeeeeee!!! hugs!

The fountains were working when the Chaza van pulled up to the hotel. It was beautiful!! All pools are up and open.. The pool bar to the right and the beach bar were closed when we came. After introducing ourselves to the bar manager, he said they will be opening today. I didn't even notice they weren't, as we had just arrived and were just walking around and he brought it up. I only snacked yesterday and crashed very early. I'm heading to breakfast and will give you an account of our first full day later tonight. Gotta go!
