Yes, dear Sheri - we arrive on the 20th and I had planned on PM'ing you for us to meet up. I've already blackmailed Jan that if she doesn't get her passport in time, I'm drinking w/out her. You will recognize us by our picture, and we are not the slightest bashful.. Heck, I'll ask all guests if they are Sheri and Mike from Atlanta... well this is to all the bar hoppers out there !! WOW is all i can say about Senor Frogs !!!! that is the wildest place i have ever been in my life !!! girls hanging upside down over the bar drinking shots and being spun around, everyone dancing and drinking, the water slide, and the amount of people crammed into one place. WOW !! i was going to go to Coco Bongos tonight but was told that they were carding people and not letting minors in. i have a 17 yo niece with me and she wouldn't have been able to attend so we are making other plans. spent the day on the Isla Mujeres daytrip and had a blast !! the tour guides were awesome and hilarious !!! they really enjoy their job. BTW, the fountains in front were working when we got back from the voyage. i would recommend 1 thing to everyone, make sure you get a pool towel early and keep it with you for the day. i have went to the pool 2 days in a row around 5:30 and they were completely out of towels. the restaurants are all open and i would have to say the International is my favorite. the italian has some small portions so if you're hungry i'd go elsewhere. the mexican is good also. the steakhouse had a bit of a wait to be seated but the selection was good. i had the top sirloin and it would have been better if for the fact i like my meat well done and it was still pink. never tried the asian tho. the room service menu is being delivered to my room tonight (never found one in the room) and it's available 24 hrs. hope this helps everyone that might have any questions. having a great time in the sun !!!
You have got to go to Coco Bongo !!! That was an awesome place. We went VIP and got a seat at a table in front of the stage area. That place was packed but we have our own waiter and it was a great time. It is like a vegas show meets senior frogs.
What about the entertainment at the Cancun Palace????? Live Band?? Dancing of any kind going on at the hotel?? Karaoke? D.J.??? Thanks and have MORE Fun!!!!
ELLABEAR, I have an Entertainment schedule I'm going to post once I get back. It's got a magic show, karaoke on 2 nights, circus at the palace (went here last night and it was great), drums dance & fire night, a mexican show, and an anything can happen night. Those are just some things going on at night. They have a lot more going on than that during the day. I'll try to post it ASAP. As far as Coco Bongo's, I have a minor with me and she wouldn't be able to get in so that's out of the question, even though I really wanted to go.
