16 hrs until I leave for the airport !!!! 6 hrs later, I'll hopefully be sitting in either the airport or on the beach of the Cancun Palace !!!!
I am so envious! It's raining and cold in Georgia today. It has been in the 80's here for the last few days. It will help wash the pollen away and we need that bad. Everything here was coated in green powder this morning when I left for work. YOU HAVE A GREAT TIME AND A SAFE TRIP! Go to the shows at night at the hotel, they are worth seeing. Jan, my husband and I will be there in 3 weeks. If you see Sheri from Georgia singing Karaoke, that will be me! We arrive on the 19th. Can't wait!!!!
Cancun Palace Jan: We will be there from April 19th to April 26th. Arriving at 11:30 am on the 19th. So we should still be there when you arrive. We'll buy you a drink!

1 last quick question. What can anyone tell me about Cozumel ?? Is it worth the time and what will I be able to do there ?? I had someone mention it to me and they said they had a blast but I never got any details specifically on what to do or where to go. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Well I hope things get better from here on out. My flight got cancelled to Dallas and couldn't get rebooked until 4/1. I spent 2 hours dealing with American Airlines which basically told me I was up a creek until Monday morning. I talked to another airline and was able to get AA to issue me paper tickets and Frontier airline was able to get me on a flight on Sunday morning. I was very unhappy with the way AA dealt with everything. I'm glad my travel agent advised the insurance !!! I was lucky the adjoining hotel to the airport had accomedations for the night. I was really beginning to think I was going to have to cancel everything but at least I'll still be able to enjoy some time there. I am having trouble contacting the hotel to keep my reservation though. I called the Miami, Fla. Palace Resort office #'s and they are closed until Monday. I left my cell at home so not sure of any other way to get in touch with them. I'm trying to get in touch with my travel agent but not sure if they are even open on Saturdays. Sorry to sound gloomy but it's been a long day already and i've only been at it for about 7.5 hrs. If anyone has any other help or info on how to get in touch with the Cancun Palace or Resort offices, I would greatly be appreciative. OH That is horrible. I can't imagine your frustration, not being able to get in touch with Palace Resorts. Take some deep breaths and try to relax. You will be in paradise soon. EB
