Re: Chaza Travel e-mail Hi Freezing in Minnesota! You can try and contact them via e-mail but you may not get a response. I have sent them several and to date have not had a response. I only have two other things to say today 34 Days Till Cancun and IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lotsofmichaelf:
I emailed CT and it took me about 3-4 wks to get a response and what I asked wasn't even addressed when I finally did get something. You might want to just call them directly to get any other info that you haven't been able to get answered on here. I also have 1 last thing to say .... 2 WEEKS AND COUNTING !!!!!
Well, I'm back from a week in Cancun but I didn't forget those of you that are interested in the Cancun Palace. I was walking back from the Oasis last Wednesday and needed to find a way to get from the beach to Kukulcan Ave to catch the bus. So I chose the Cancun Palace as my shortcut. I also took 37 pictures as I wandered through. Here you will find: the beach the pool bar(s) mini buffet by the pool the various pools two poolside restaurants piano bar overlooking the ocean the lobby bar the lobby main entrance and desk champagne at main entrance the front of the hotel some of the construction still ongoing at the very front edge of the property (by the road and at the next property) I did not notice anything but laughter, conversation, and music at the pool. hope it helps click below for pics: http://good-times.webshots.com/album/558231803ntxNqd
DConCT, Wow, these are great!!!!! :claphappy: Thanks so much for taking the time and all the effort. We will be there April 25th, so these are great previews of what's waiting. A quick question: Did the CP security say anything to you? In the past the wrist band was necessary to be on the property. Jan
I was in approximately 6 or 7 hotels throughout the week. I've yet to speak to even one security guard. regarding the CP specifically, I did not see a security guard until I made it through the entire pool/lobby/reception area and outside. Once outside I nodded at the guards and continued clicking. There was a guard at the front entrance that stopped a woman who walked in from Kukulcan Ave. However, since I had come from the hotel, he didn't think twice about me. Unless I'm mistaken, I don't believe you can see security in any of the pictures.
Awesome I arrived at the Cancun Palace Sunday after a 2 day delay at Laguardia airport. The good news my new flight home is Next Monday. Nobody should worry about getting your moneys worth the new Cancun Palace is top notch. Every request that you have is taken care of asap and someone double checks that it is done. They have kicked up the service a notch from my last 2 visits here pre hurricane. Plenty of top shelve liquor you just request it. The only complaints I have heard is the noise from spring breakers and the fact that the place is different then before. I believe this if a well improved Cancun Palace. For Palace Premier members go to the sales presentation they are giving away the farm to raise capitol to build the new Beach Palace( open this summer) and the new Isla Mahares Palace that will be done next summer. Plans for Cabo and others in the works. I now have another 50 weeks. I will check in through out the week to answer questions. Capacity is at about 60 percent, restaurants are full every night but not over crowded.
