Thanks for all of the great links. The only thing I notice from all the images is the lack of chairs and how small the pool is. Before they had chairs lined up like a cruise ship, I would have to be there during busy time!!!! LIke someone else said, the concrete replaced the pool and the pool replaced the concrete.
It looks BEAUTIFUL!! I'll be there in a month and a 1/2 and will give you all first hand opinions. I received my confirmation in the mail yesterday. I am so incredibly psyched!! My husband will use our member status to be sure he gets what he wants. With only 200 of the 600 rooms available, I will not be happy if it's still not ready by then. I'm sure we'll switch to the Moon if that's the case, but I'm still optimistic they have time to fill it to the rim!! We Like To Party!! Thanks for the sleuthing, Ella!!
My trip I will be arriving in Cancun on March 31st and will be staying at the CP. I will do my best to keep everyone updated as well about what the CP looks like and what needs to be done. This will be my 1st trip to Cancun so I hope everything goes well. I do have one question though and I hope it doesn't sound too stupid but will I be able to take my laptop and not have any trouble with customs? I'd sure hate to not declare anything and then get searched and get caught with something I can't have, that would put a real damper on my vacation !!!! Any useful info about this or anything else would/will be greatly appreciated. I'm taking my digital camera & camcorder with me so I'll be able to post pics with one or the other sometime during my stay.
Re: My trip No problem w/ the laptop.. I took mine last trip to use as a portable DVD player. They didn't even ask that it go through X-Ray by itself as they do here. That may have changed, but it was not problem regardless. I can't wait to hear your thoughts, since you leave a few weeks before me. Wheeeee!!!
