Beaches Ok, so all of you who have been( or live there)- is the water truly as blue as it is in all the photos? I assumed the photos were altered however a friend told me they are not, that the water is that wonderful turquoise color. So....? 9 days left!
The water is that blue color. When you first see the water from the taxi/shuttle in to the hotel zone, you will be astounded by the color. There is a beach (the name escapes me presently) where you will see the water for the first time other than from your airplane.
brapat26 - The water color is really that blue. The brightness may vary depending on cloud cover and how rough the sea is. On a sunny day with normal conditions it will be that vivid blue that you see in pictures. Walshlaw- I believe the beach you are speaking of is Playa Delfines.
