We are a large group arriving 10OCT and departing 17OCT. Staying at the Royal Sands but go "off campus" every evening. Does anyone know if there will be a Cancun Care booze cruise during this time period? Go Chelsea!
October Cancun I meant to post a public reply, but this was my first time, so somebody ended up with a private msg (oops). We are also two girls (from Seattle, WA) that will be in Cancun Sept. 28-Oct. 6 and would love some tips (never been) or to meet up with anyone who knows the area while we are there! Also, while I certainly enjoy the party club scene I also want to go to the smaller, more cultured bars. Is it completely safe for two females to go to dowtown Cancun alone?
I am sure it is, I just want to be convinced by someone who has visited often or who lives there! If I get back before you leave I will let you know of any things I learn that should be passed on to two single girls.
Yes, it is absolutely safe. Just stay along the Hotel Zone area bars and you'll be just fine. I have been going down there for years and have never seen or witnessed anything out of the ordinary. As far as safety, it is much like our urban bar scenes. Just use common sense and you'll have a blast!!!
