The Tigres of Quintana Roo, whose home is Cancun, sport the best record in Mexican League Baseball, having won the championship of the southern zone five of the last six years and the overall championship twice in the last three. This year is again going well for them as they enter a second playoff round. Tuesday and Wednesday this week they will play at home against the Pericos de Puebla. The Tigres won their first best of seven series against the Defines de Ciudad del Carmen. If they get past the Pericos they will probably be matched against the Diablos of Mexico City for the championship. Tickets are available at the door. This week's games start at 8 PM.
