Another question is is there a liquor store at Grand Oasis or close by? I like to keep liquor in stock in the room so when we feel like partying there
Just about every "mall" has liquor, but I think you'll want to hop on the bus for about 80 cents each way. From what I remember, it's a good walk from the Oasis Cancun, maybe a mile?
Anybody here know what its going to be like in September me and a friend are going for 2 weeks staying at Barcelo costa... any info apprechaited

As for the water at TTR they have signs that says the sink water is safe. Heard stories about people using it for coffee though and still getting laxative qualities from it. I was drunk in the shower and started drinking some of that water... Next 24 hours that too gave me laxative like effects. Play it safe, just drink alcohol.
