    Hi Steve! Long time no talk!. These stats are interesting. What is the major hospital in Downtown Cancun called? I remember it. What is the weather like at this particular point in time? Still 85 and sunny? How are the police acting during all of this? Are things calm there or is it an absolute zoo at specific times? I am just curious to know what else is happening. I remember we had drinks during the day on Punta Cancun one year... it was fun. I am assuming that since Wilma there has not been any sort of major stoppage in the well oiled Cancun economy and Machine....I see that Temptation was rebuilt completely.

    Steve.. Is there any sort of reopen strategy being discussed in Cancun, or is it basically shut down in perpetuity at this point?

    Everything (apart from essential services) has been shut down for over a month now

    There are 979 municipalities in Mexico that have had no reported cases, these areas are scheduled to reopen on May 17.

    There are 463 municipalities in Mexico with reported cases, these areas are scheduled to reopen on June 1st. These include Cancun and Playa del Carmen.

    Puerto Morelos and Tulum have a low numberof cases so may not be extended until June 1st.

    Of course, like anywhere else, the dates are under constant review.
