That article which MandEOntario posted.... that may well be a huge roll of the dice, I think.

The thing that IS encouraging is that there's been no deaths there in a few days. That seems to be a "good thing."

when 13 out of 28 people tested test positive in a day it does make you wonder if they are testing enough people. That sure is a high rate of positive tests.

I think all countries are being criticized for not conducting enough tests at the moment, Mexico is no exception.

Most countries are only testing those who have all the definite symptoms and are severely ill.

Not much point testing people if you are reasonably sure they don't have it!

yep agreed. I think where a logical debate comes in is do you test the people who came in contact with the people who tested positive. And if not, then at what level of symptom do you test them? Not sure if there is a known right answer but the level of positives surely would go up with more testing as a result of the current positive test rate this high. Especially if it is true that carriers can be asymptomatic for days and still spread the virus. That would make me wish they are testing everyone they can who comes in contact. Of course that is the perfect world none of us live in as you
    1) have to have the # of tests to do so
    2) have to have the resources to track these people down
    3) the person with the virus has to do a good job of sharing all they came in contact with

easier said than done of course
