We are coming, we are still on the same schedule for our flight and evverything! We will just have more room to dance, but we will party thats for sure. The four of us are best friends and counting the minutes to spend time in the sun!
WE are still coming. I heard about the cut back in staff last night. It too bad we may not be able to see some of our favorite bartenders but will try to get them a little $$ anyhow. Want to make sure they are there next time we come.
Originally Thomas Cook cancelled thier flights until today. I checked on Friday and it was upto next tuesday, I've just checked again and now it's upto thursday. I'm not coming to the 8th June but it better get sorted before then!
I think the sad part of this is that Cancun is caught in the proverbial perfect storm. Not only are they dealing with the swine flu, but also a very bad travel climate to begin with. Some of the other tourist areas not in Mexico are reporting occupancy of 30% or less. It makes for some great deals, but the whole industry is hurting. We just booked Beaches in the Turks & Caicos for next April at less than half of what it normally goes for. Same for Jamaica for some of the better resorts. It's tough right now because people aren't spending money on travel.
I am truely sorry to hear about the staff there at TTR because they are definitely hard workers & definitely underpaid. But then again if them guy's up in the Premier office were to mate with some swines I defininetly wouldn't be the ones to stop 'em!!!
See Lowrider that is why we LOVED you guys last May! I only require a few small airholes, I wont mind being squished as long as I know I am on my way to TTR! I will be a happy gal!
