Lmao!! I know it’s decriminalized but it’s not like cigarettes are illegal either. It’s all to do with import declarations and what’s a legal amount to bring in.
I tried looking that up and never found any specific guidlines. Its definitely illegal. But I’m comfortable with it, it’s never clear it’s weed.
Man..I wish I had the stones. I just can’t imagine getting popped for something like that you know. Shit. When you’re done leave you’re unused stuff in a box and I’ll venmo you for the trouble. Lol. **I just realized you may not realized I was joking lmao!
Yikes! Trying to explain ones actions to the Mexican police is not a position many of of us would choose to place ourselves at risk of having to do. They're not quite like the guys at home who might possibly be somewhat understanding and even bestow a bit of mercy on you. The Mexican cops don't have to. To me the risk of detainment, prolonged questioning, trying to obtain any legal representation, HEFTY fines / payouts, possibly being banned permanently from the country would never be worth the risk.
For your reference, here's an attached PDF of the current Mexican Customs form that you fill out when entering Mexico . The limits for both alcohol and tobacco and a pretty detail list of everything else you can legally bring with you into Mexico are listed on this form. Don't see anything on there regarding non prescription 420 related items .......
Yea I get everyone’s tolerance for risk is different, and I’m not advocating anyone doing it. What I carry and the customs persons diligence and ability to identify it is low in my opinion.
Also as a disclaimer for my up coming trip I will be consuming all edible during flight and should be gone by landing. I don’t intend on having any or much at all at customs
