Canadian drivers stunned by new anti-speeding penalties

    Believe me, those ponies are a lot quicker these days...

    naw... Clydesdales are only used for the 'smart cars'.... they squish them with their hooves... hehehe

    In the uk it depends on what the limit is on the road you are on. Generally you are ok up to 10% over the limit after that you get 'points' on your licence. If you get 12 in total you get banned. But the minimum amount of points you get for any offence is 3. and they stay on your licence for 3 years. But most driving offences carry points and fine. bald tyres (3 for each one) talking on your mobile without hands free (6) No insurance (6) No seatbelt (3) And now there are cameras everywhere just to catch speeding drivers, they read number plate and deliver the good news by post. Are all other countries this strict or is this fairly standard?
