Rikki, I always find Marks & Spencer do the best rate on foreign currency, however I couldnt make it into town to get some euros earlier this month so went to the M&S website, printed off their exch rates then drove to local Thomas Cooks and asked them if they'd match M&S, they not only matched it but even beat it . May be worth a shot . Ian
Always Good to shop about, check out the travelex website though buddy they GUARANTEE to be the best rates in the UK, so take a look
We're nearly at 90 cents here, they say it'll happen soon and there is talk it might eventually hit $1 in the (kinda) near future, it was around 50 cents only a few years back.
yeah I am still going to use the US dollars..I don't think the workers would appreciate the toonie and loonies yet
The loonie has already surpassed the American, it has already happened.. It is going up and down of course as they markets will do
as of today, sept. 24, Looks like they are about even!! Crazy!! http://ca.finance.yahoo.com/currency/convert?amt=1&to=USD&from=CAD
now if only the pricing in goods will come down as well. the difference in things is ridiculous. like when we buy a magazine or book, or clothes the american price is on the tag and the differnce can be huge.
