Something changed in the past year as a medication we purchased both across the street and at the airport cost 10x as much this past June across the street and wasn't even available at the airport.

    Airport Pharmacies (June 2013)

Both of the airport pharmacies were open in June, however, something must have been going on because they only had a few over the counter medications available and most of the shelves were empty.

Things were different in January, and you could get just about anything at the airport without a prescription.

I forgot to go to Wal-Mart, so I don't know if anything changed there or not, but I have been able to purchase medication there in the past as well - No Schedule I narcotics or anything like that, but they do carry some pain meds, muscle relaxants, and sleeping pills that are normally prescription only.
