Can we get party favors easily? We want to dance with Mary Jane

Didn't they legalize posession of small amounts of drugs in Mexico a year or so ago?? I think they were trying to eliminate the shake-down of tourists by cops. Maybe I was mis-informed, but I remember they had the quantities listed and it wasn't just recreational drugs like pot, they also listed heroin and pcp!

 

There was a piece of legistation passed in 2006 not sure that it was signed into law. It said anything less than 5 grams is acceptable but larger quantities would face stiffer penalties. But I can't say that I would want to contribute to the violence even if it was legal. Plus that stuff makes me sleepy and I don't like sleeping on vacation. It's party, party, party, party all ten days!

 

If I did do drugs.... the last place.... let me say that again... the LAST place that I would look to buy them is in Mexico. *L* Do you really want to end up in a Mexican prison????

i think this is the thing that gets me most

people up here in the states who do use illegal drugs have no clue whatsoever that they are the ones who ultimatley cause this

.............and then these are the same people who sit around and act puzzled over all the killings in mexico and say crap like "wow i would never go to mexico with all that crime"
